Time to decorate (11/25/11)

Every year gets more exciting for the boys. And they want to help with every bit of the decorating. I love that they love everything about Christmas and get just as excited as I do.

We decided that it was time to get the large nativity set out again. It has been put away in lieu of a smaller one for the past few years. We were worried about little hands. The boys loved it and couldn't wait to put it out.

A couple of days earlier we visited a local huge Christmas store at Aidan's request. He especially loves to look at all the Christmas village displays. This store also has an entire room set up to nativity sets and anything and everything that could go with them. Aidan walked into the room, was looking around and hollered over to me, "Mama we need to get a Jesus town and fill it with Jesus things." So of course you can imagine he was a little happy and excited to help set up our "Jesus town."

This is our nativity that has been out for the past few years. The boys love to get it out every year and play with it. Owen found a place and set it up again this year.

The boys hung most of the ornaments on the tree this year. They loved pulling them out and remembering who got them for them. Our tree is a little lopsided in the decorations but I love it.

Before we got started decorating we enjoyed a little Christmas music, Toby Mac, the boys favorite. We couldn't help ourselves.
