Our family was fortunate enough to spend this past weekend on Lake MI at a friend's cabin. What a gift to share with us. The boys loved every minute of it, even the rain we got.
It took Owen a little while to warm up to the sand, but in the end he was happy as a clam.
Aidan wasted no time running and playing in the sand. It wasn't long until he was in the water too.
This was taken after Owen went out in the water on his own. The water was warm this year and Aidan was in it for hours.
My favorite thing to do on the beach is walk and search for glass. Owen joined me for a little bit.
The boys wanted Mario to make them their own "pool" so he did. And of course you need floaties!
Owen loved the rocks and he loved searching and panning for rocks with Dada.
Aidan was a huge fan of the kayak. He wanted to take it out over and over again. He was even paddling on his own.
