Adventure

Mario and I were watching a little tv before bed. It was a travel show on PBS and they were sea kayaking. I told Mario that I miss adventure in my life. He said, "What are you talking about? Weren't you chasing something in the yard today?" Sure enough, he was right. Earlier in the day, the boys were playing outside. Aidan announced there were "thunder snakes" in the yard and we had to capture them. The boys ran and got their water guns which they used to capture and hold the snakes. It truly was a grand adventure. Sometimes I just need a reminder to change my perspective. No where in the world could I have adventure like I have in my own backyard.
