Aidan ran his first marathon in September. It was really cute. The kids were so excited. It was a fundraiser for his school. As you can see they even had real race bibs for them.
The race was ran by classes. Here is Aidan lined up and ready to go with his class.
And they are off. Some of the kids started off strong and others finished strong. It was so cute to see how serious they were about running.
Here Aidan is crossing the finish line. He ended up running 2 extra laps, just for good measure. :o)
Owen had a good time cheering his brother on.
Here Aidan is with his class and one of his teachers. After the race they had water for the kids, popcicles and pretzels. The kids loved that.
And here is the class with their 4th grade buddies that came out to cheer them on. Aidan's buddy is sitting right behind him. He is a sweet kid and really takes it seriously looking after Aidan.
