This July we were finally able to take the boys to one of our all time favorite camping places. And it is now one of their favorite too. They loved being able to play in sand right at camp and walk to the beach.
This year Dada taught them how to build a fire. They loved being able to help out around camp.
Of course we spent a day at the beach. The weather was just perfect. The boys built castles, monster truck tracks and swam.
The park had a kid's activity during the day. The boys got to "fish" and then they won prizes. Dada helped them get the hang of it.
Smores are a must when we go camping. You can see the boys love them as much as I do.
On the way home we stopped at a local ice cream shops. The server was a great sport and even let us in a little early. You can see he served the boys up some special cones. They were so excited.
During our stay we also visited a local port town. It was their Farmer's Market so we wandered around it for awhile. We also walked out as far as we could on the pier, watched the fishing charters, some barges and took a peak at the light house. The boys can't wait to go back next year.

So... I don't suppose this was our favorite spot to go camping too, was it??? Any trips to Finkel Road? :)
